Bio
Peter Skagius is a PhD candidate at the Department of Child Studies at Linköping University, Sweden. He is writing his dissertation on the dissemination and circulation of child psychological and psychiatric expertise in Swedish media and popular publications during the period 1968-2008. His fields of interests include the history of the “psy” disciplines and professions, childhood studies, theorizations of the sciences and media, as well as how to combine posthumanist and postconstructionist methods and theories with more traditional historical methodologies.
