Mariano Ruperthuz Honorato
Mariano Ruperthuz Honorato is a Chilean psychoanalyst and historian. Is PhD in Psychology by the University of Chile and candidate in PhD in History by the University of Santiago de Chile. He was also a postdoctoral researcher in psychology at the School of Psychology of the University of Santiago de Chile. Is professor, researcher and director of the Master in Psychology, mention Theory and Psychoanalytic Clinic of the Faculty of Psychology of the Diego Portales University (Chile). He is also a researcher at the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FONDECYT- Chile). His lines of research are: the history of the reception of psychoanalysis in Chile and Latin America and the analysis of the processes of psychologization, acceleration of social time and the development of a psychotherapeutic culture in the working class in Chile at the beginning of the 20th century. He is coeditor theof the on-line journal CulturasPsi / PsyCultures (www.culturaspsi.org).
